Wheel Craft’s custom (TM) many customers love wheel finishes. They’re made specifically for factory wheels and not aftermarket wheel coatings. Our next-generation proprietary finishes are beautiful in texture and appearance. Their superior protective properties provide unsurpassed durability, ensuring beauty and performance for many years.
When you think about it, the people who create the products that we buy – custom wheel finishes or any other – are what make a difference.
What a difference they make at Wheel Craft. Many of our team members have decades, if not decades, of experience in their trades. Their passion and caring are what make them artisans.
Wheel Craft has some special people, so this blog will be used to highlight them as true difference-makers. This is the first instalment. We want to introduce Thomas Jones, a polishing expert.
Thomas spent the first 20 years working in a wheel polishing booth. He would stand for eight hours a day, every day, polishing tires. You can ask anyone in the business to confirm that it is a difficult, dirty job but must be done correctly every time.
Thomas eventually found his way to Wheel Craft. We were fortunate that Thomas made it to Wheel Craft. No one is better at wheel polishing than Thomas. Thomas knows exactly how to polish a car wheel, remove the substrate without damaging its structural integrity and inspect a wheel to determine the best way to polish it. Wheel Craft applies custom ICE finishes to various wheel types so that there is no one-size-fits-all. Thomas’s decades of experience and craftsman flair mean that he knows how to make every wheel look great, whether repairing curb rash or stripping off a complex coating.
Engagement and advancement are a priority for our enterprise. We allowed Thomas to take on significant project leadership responsibilities. He is currently the Prep Department’s product lead. Thomas is still eager to learn, despite his unparalleled experience and expertise. We challenge Thomas to improve his craft every day. This could be using different paper types, spinners, polishing tools, or other methods. We encourage Thomas and all team members to think outside the box and strive to improve and excel in every way possible.
